Mission
The Association of Pro Futuro has two main activities:
          1) The non-formal education and
          2) people with dyslexia advocacy.

 

History
In 2006 the association was formed within the dyslexia support group. Our goal is to provide support to those people who are reading and writing disorders, to modern lasītapmācības and support the availability of Latvian comprehensive schools, to promote the experience of other countries in education for people with learning disabilities, and make changes in the Latvian education system that promotes, rather than marginalize young people with reading / write problems.

Pro Futuro brings together 60 members from 15 Latvian districts.

Pro Futuro is the International dyslexia Association (International Dyslexia Association) member.

Pro Futuro is the Latvian Civic Alliance.

The Society is a public benefit organization status.
