Branches & Global Partners Extend IDA's Reach
IDA BRANCHES
Even as a young organization, The Orton Society (before it became The International Dyslexia Association) recognized the growing need for regional centers to more effectively carry out its mission and services. Thus, the concept of "Branches" evolved throughout the 1960s.
During the next 40 years, many more Branches formed throughout the United States and internationally. Some of those that were created have since dissolved and merged with other branches. All have made valuable contributions to their members and to the organization.*
IDA currently has 47 Branches throughout the United States and Canada.
IDA GLOBAL PARTNERS
In addition to regional Branches, IDA has 15 Global Partners located in 13 countries throughout the world. To learn more about our Global Partners, click here. Join IDA today and become a part of an international and local organization.
